A word about the RAM-web.

RAM-web The RAM-web is the Rossendale and Macclesfield web-line. Hopefully in the near future, there will be added many (some at least) more sites, creating a web-triangle, square, pentagon... and then we're getting into the realms of polygonal madness. Currently, the line consists of two nodes, the Surrealist Worker (node 1a) and Piper Publications Online (node 2). Shortly we hope to be bringing you the "Bottom Pineapple Pictorial Guide to Bits of Britain" but this is only in the planning stage as yet. There is no direct connection between these sites other than mutual friendship (and a desire to get more traffic). Nothing on any site should be taken as an endorsement of another. We're in no way responsible for the other sites, and they're not responsible for ours.

RAM-web links
Node 2 Piper Publications Online - RAM-web node 2. This is a depository of fiction. Recently launched, there are only a few short pieces at present, but it accepts submissions so will grow. If you are a budding author, this could be your outlet.
Node 3 Bottom Pineapple's Pictorial Guide to (Bits of) Britain - RAM-web node 3. A tour of favourite places in both pictures and information. Under development.
Other links.
Where is it? The Darkwood Mercenary Elves - This is the home site for a bunch of live role-players. I don't pretend to understand them, but they're a good bunch of folks. Contains some great pictures, and some "games" too, so even if you don't role-play, it's worth a look.
Where is it? Sproutlore - If you've never read any Robert Rankin books, then shame on you. Until you do, however, you can break yourself in gently with a look at the home of the official Robert Rankin fan club. There's also a mailing list that I recommend joining (though it can get a little busy at times.)
Where is it? Horizon - The home of Horizon, the official Blake's 7 Appreciation Society. (Blake's 7 - the 1978-1981 British SF television program and probably the best program ever!)
Where is it? Cheese - The number one resource for cheese. It's all about cheese!
Where is it? Aasvogel Recycling and Skip Hire - Sorted. Respect due. While I am in no position to endorse this company, why on Earth would an Oxfordshire recycling & skip hire company call itself Aasvogel?
